ABOUT US

Established in Christchurch in 2012, South East Earthworks is a large excavation company with small company morals...  We pride ourselves on being hard workers who complete projects to high standards.

All SEE drivers and machinery operators have extensive experience, enabling us to complete jobs quickly and very efficiently. This helped earn South East Earthworks our large portfolio of repeat clients. We remain ambitious, with the goal of growing our company far into the future. SEE continues to be involved in the Canterbury rebuild and we assisted with firefighting during the 2017 Port Hills fires in Christchurch.

“Great to deal with… Really impressed with the work done and with your guys onsite.
The client is stoked!”

SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Locky Flintoft - Owner & Managing Director

Locky has worked in civil construction and earthworks since leaving school at 16. He gained a supervising position for Fulton Hogan by the age of 18 and later worked in Australia for five years, in various construction roles. With his wife Stacey, Locky returned to their home town Christchurch, in 2012. South East Earthworks was established to contribute to the Christchurch rebuild, initially focusing on residential driveway repairs. Services expanded to include larger commercial projects such as foundations, roading and subdivisions.

“We have 14 employees including my two brothers, so we’re a family-orientated business… And I like to get my hands dirty working alongside the rest of the team.” – Locky.
